1. Parties
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you (“User”, “Member”, “you”) and TAXI ON DOOR, a partnership registered under GSTIN 23AAUFT0208K1Z2, with principal place of business at 5/5, Sanvid Nagar, Indore, Madhya Pradesh 452018 (“Company”, “we”, “us”). The Taxi Union Kalyan Samiti (“TUKS”) brand and digital platform are operated by the Company.
2. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, registering, or using the TUKS app, websites (including taxiunionkalyansamiti.com), or related APIs, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must provide accurate mobile number and profile information.
- Driver / motor-owner features may require valid licences, vehicle documents, and KYC (including Aadhaar where requested) as permitted by law.
4. Services
TUKS may provide, among other things:
- Union-oriented digital membership and renewals
- SOS / roadside assistance alerts to nearby members and providers
- Digital identity display, helplines, news, complaints, and community features
- Trip / load matching and related tools where available
SOS and networking features are coordination tools. We do not guarantee that help will arrive, response times, or the conduct of third parties who respond. Always contact official emergency services (e.g. 112) for life-threatening situations.
5. Membership & payments
- Membership plans, prices (including strike/MRP display), and duration are shown in-app and may change with notice.
- Payments may be processed via enabled gateways (e.g. Razorpay, Cashfree) or other methods we configure.
- Successful payment activates or extends membership as described at checkout. Failed or abandoned payments do not grant benefits.
- Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by Indian consumer law or expressly stated by us in writing.
- Applicable GST, if any, will be charged as per law and our registration as a Regular taxpayer.
6. Accounts & security
You are responsible for OTP confidentiality and device access. Notify us promptly of unauthorised use. We may suspend accounts that appear fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of these Terms.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse SOS or alerts (false emergencies, spam, harassment)
- Impersonate others or submit forged documents
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attack our systems
- Use the platform for illegal activity or to harm other members
8. Third-party services
Maps, SMS OTP, payment gateways, and similar providers are governed by their own terms. We are not liable for outages or errors of third-party networks beyond our reasonable control.
9. Intellectual property
TUKS name, logo, app, and content are owned by the Company or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the app for personal membership purposes.
10. Disclaimers
Services are provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted access, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Union welfare benefits, if any, are subject to separate rules published by the Samiti or Company.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the Company’s aggregate liability arising from the services shall not exceed the membership fees you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its partners, and operators from claims arising from your misuse of the services, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
13. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, legal risk, or platform shutdown, with notice where reasonably practicable. Surviving clauses include IP, liability limits, indemnity, and governing law.
14. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer protections, courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this site and/or in the app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
